5 common questions answered
NHTSA identifies three recalls for certain 2021 BMW 4 Series vehicles. The Battery issue involves a poorly assembled connection between the 48-Volt battery and starter-generator, where increased electrical resistance may raise fire risk. The Rearview Camera Software issue may cause a missing or reduced camera image, increasing crash or injury risk if the driver relies only on that view. The Air Bag issue affects certain convertibles and involves a head-thorax air bag that may not deploy as intended in some side-impact crashes, increasing injury risk. Waiting can leave a safety-related condition unresolved, so schedule a free VIN check promptly.
