5 common questions answered
NHTSA recall information identifies three safety concerns for this vehicle. A control-arm weld may separate and affect handling and control, increasing crash risk. A rear spoiler may detach if it is not properly bonded, creating a crash or personal-injury risk for other motorists. A steering column shaft bearing plate may loosen and also affect handling and control. Because these conditions involve vehicle structure, steering, and suspension-related control, waiting to verify your VIN can leave a safety concern unresolved. Herb Chambers BMW of Sudbury can identify the applicable recall and arrange the manufacturer remedy before the issue becomes more serious.
