Protect Your Rearward Visibility

NHTSA identifies one recall involving the Backup Camera on the 2019 BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe. The defect may cause the back-up camera display to show no image, leaving the driver without a clear view behind the vehicle. That loss of visibility increases the risk of a crash while reversing. Waiting can leave the concern unresolved during everyday parking or backing maneuvers. BMW's remedy is a software update designed to address the camera display issue. Because recall repairs are provided at no charge by an authorized dealer, prompt attention is a practical way to restore confidence and help keep your vehicle's safety equipment working as intended.
