5 common questions answered
NHTSA identifies two safety-related recall areas for the 2017 BMW M6. A loose third brake light may detach, reducing visibility to following traffic and potentially creating a road hazard that increases crash risk. A seat-mounted side air bag inflator initiator may fail to ignite, meaning the air bag may not deploy in a crash and increasing the risk of injury. These concerns are not routine maintenance items. If you postpone a notice or continue driving without confirming completion, the underlying risk may remain. A free VIN check helps determine whether either BMW remedy is still open for your vehicle.
