Recall Service & Dealership Highlights

Address Air Bag Risks

NHTSA identifies two Air Bag recalls affecting certain 2017 BMW 4 Series vehicles. Both involve a seat-mounted side air bag inflator initiator that may fail to ignite during a crash. If that happens, the seat-mounted side air bag may not deploy, increasing the risk of injury. Waiting to verify recall status can leave a safety concern unresolved, especially if you received a manufacturer notice or do not know whether a previous owner completed the repair. A free VIN check is a simple first step, and an open remedy should be addressed promptly by an authorized BMW service team.
