Recall Service & Dealership Highlights

Address Safety Concerns

NHTSA recall information identifies air bag inflators that may rupture and propel sharp metal fragments during a crash, creating a serious injury or death risk. The driveshaft recall involves water and debris entering the front universal joint, where excessive wear may affect front-wheel traction and increase crash risk if the joint fails. The steering recall involves a possible power steering fluid leak that could reach hot exhaust parts and increase the risk of an engine-compartment fire. Waiting can leave a safety defect unresolved, even if the vehicle seems to drive normally. A free VIN check helps determine whether BMW still lists a remedy for your X6.
